There are a number of important application deadlines associated with our postgraduate courses. If you are unsure whether a deadline applies to you, please check your chosen course page, or contact us.
Courses with unique deadlines
Some of our courses have their own, unique deadlines or multiple deadlines scheduled throughout the year, including:
- Applications to our Child, community and educational psychology (M4) training are managed through the Association of Educational Psychologists (AEP). The deadline for this year’s applications is Wednesday 30 October 2024.
- Applications to our Child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapy (M80) training will close on Monday 6 January 2025. You can review other key dates associated with your application on our FAQs page.
- Applications to our Systemic psychotherapy (M6) training will close on Monday 20 January 2025.
- Applications to join the January cohort of our Developing a diverse child and adolescent workforce (CPD64) training will close on Monday 2 December 2024.
- Applications to join the February cohort of our Perinatal mental health postgraduate module (PN1) will close on Wednesday 15 January 2025.
Early decision deadline – Monday 6 January 2025
If you apply to one of the following courses by Monday 6 January 2025, you will be guaranteed an early decision on your application – receiving an invitation to interview (if successful) by Monday 3 February 2025 and a conditional or unconditional offer of study (if successful) by Monday 3 March 2025. This early decision will allow you to begin putting in place any placements, therapy and other professional and personal arrangements, as well as applications for funding or bursaries, in advance of the start of your studies.

International applicant student visa deadline – Monday 30 June 2025
If you are applying to study with us from overseas, and wish to join one of the following courses via a Student Visa, please ensure you have submitted your application by Monday 30 June 2025 at the latest. This should allow sufficient time to apply for, and receive, your Student Visa before the start of the academic year, but earlier applications are strongly encouraged.

Bursary application deadlines
As part of our commitment to becoming a more inclusive education provider, we offer a number of bursaries to new students from Black, Asian or Minority Ethnic / Global Majority backgrounds who qualify for Home fees status.
We will publish the details of bursaries for the academic year 2025/26 later this year, and anticipate that the deadline for bursary applications will match the relevant summer application deadline, as indicated above.
