Digital Academy

Our online courses are designed as a complete online learning experience, and reflect our unique teaching model: learning through experience, delivery by clinical educators, with space for reflection and discussion.

Why study with the Digital Academy?

A wide range of courses and subjects created by clinical experts

Our teaching is unique. There are very few educational institutions that deliver courses in an NHS clinic, by serving NHS clinicians – in fact, we’re the only NHS Trust to be registered as a Higher Education Provider by The Office for Students. The advice and education our students receive reflects the very latest clinical practice, and mirrors what’s happening in treatment rooms.

Affordable education and training from a leading NHS provider

Digital Academy courses start from £99, with a fee structure that’s been designed to enable accessibility and progression. We also regularly offer free webinars delivered by clinicians that address topical issues and priority training needs.

Learn in a way that’s convenient for you

We want the Tavistock and Portman Digital Academy to fit around you and your lifestyle. Courses are regularly run, with some available to book whenever you want. View or listen to lectures, complete exercises, discuss in live groups, take virtual notes, download supplementary files and discuss course materials with your instructors and fellow students.

The Digital Academy’s flexible online products and delivery mean we can support all types of learning needs for individuals, groups, and entire organisations. So if you’d like to discover how we can help you learn, whether you’re looking for training for one person or 1,000, contact us to find us more.

Testimonials

“I found the course so useful and interesting – if I could, I would enroll and start again tomorrow. I will keep an eye out for any similar courses from the Digital Academy. It is such a convenient way to learn.”

“I really enjoyed the ‘Children’s brain and emotional development’ course. It has given me a greater understanding of how trauma and poor early experiences can affect a child. It has motivated me to learn more and to apply this knowledge when working with children and infants and in particular those who have had a difficult start to life.”
