Janice Fraser is a Social Worker and Psychotherapist in Ottawa, Canada. Janice has been working in the field of Substance Abuse and Trauma for over 35 years in a variety of settings, including Mental Health Hospitals, Community Agencies, and Private Practice. Janice has supervised Psychotherapists from agencies such as the Ottawa Rape Crisis Centre and Amethyst Women’s Addiction Treatment Centre, and has been a sessional professor at St. Paul’s University. She worked with Inuit Residential School Survivors in isolated communities in Northern Canada as part of the Qauma Mobile Treatment Team. When working with her clients, Janice uses a variety of modalities and approaches including SandTray Therapy and Somatic Experiencing.
