Louise Woodhead

Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist

Louise Woodhead is a Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist, training first at the Guild of Psychotherapists and then at the London Centre for Psychotherapy, which became the British Psychotherapy Foundation. Louise has a particular interest and experience of coordinating clinical services in both Psychotherapy and Counselling organisations. Her professional background is in general and mental heath nursing, specialising in acute trauma where she worked in A + E and Intensive Care units. As a Mental Health nurse, Louise worked in Therapeutic Communities with people that experienced Eating Disorders, Drug and Alcohol problems and those with long term and enduring mental health issues; Louise had the opportunity to develop services that reflected the needs of the local community.
