Extended library opening hours
Opening times for the Tavistock Centre library are changing – offering greater convenience and support for all our members.
We are delighted to share that the opening hours of our library, located on the ground floor of The Tavistock Centre in London, are being extended.
From Monday 17 February 2025, members will be able to access the library from 9.00am to 7.00pm on weekdays throughout each academic term.
It will also be open 10.30am to 2.30pm on these selected Saturdays: 22 February, 8 March, 22 March, 26 April, 10 May, 31 May, 14 June, 28 June.
Further details will be shared via Moodle and our website.
These changes have been made in response to feedback from postgraduate students via our annual student survey, where respondents expressed a wish to have more access to the library in the evenings and weekends. As a result, members will now benefit from more time to make use of the library’s computers and study spaces, browse and borrow books and audio-visual materials, and meet with our team of librarians. Plus, access to the library’s extensive online services, including databases, e-books, journals and Box of Broadcasts, continues to be available around the clock.
