Jennie McShannon

Jennie McShannon is an executive coach and organisational consultant with a client base spanning local to global, charities to higher education, NHS, government, banks and businesses. She has designed and delivered a range of development interventions and programmes for leaders and teams in complex settings, including individual coaching and supervision or whole system and place-based support. Jennie brings to her practice 20 years of senior leadership experience in the social care sector including at CEO level, and has worked at the front-line of health, housing and substance misuse services as well as in the realms of politics and policy. She is particularly interested in leadership across boundaries, what makes for sustained and meaningful system change, and fostering and harnessing diversity in the workplace.
Jennie is a faculty member of the Tavistock and Portman’s Master’s degree programme, Consulting and leading in organisations: psychodynamic and systemic approaches and occasional lecturer on various Master’s degree courses and Leadership programmes, including Clore Social Leadership and Hyper Island MA. She is accredited as an executive coach with EMCC at Senior Practitioner level and has EMCC Global Individual Supervision accreditation.
