Jane Lowe
Child and Adolescent Psychotherapist
Jane Lowe is a child and adolescent psychotherapist currently working in a neonatal intensive care unit. She has worked in the NHS since 1984 in adult, adolescent and child services across several professional roles within health, social and educational settings. Much of her clinical work has been within perinatal mental health and infant mental health services. She has expertise in intervening swiftly, briefly and reflectively when parents ask for help having encountered problems either perinatally or with their baby/infant.
She is a visiting lecturer at Essex University (Tavistock Education and Training) teaching infant observation on the MA in Perinatal, child, adolescent and family work: a psychoanalytic observational approach, and teaches on the post-graduate perinatal mental health module.
