Visitor’s programme
We welcome visitors with all levels of experience from postgraduates and recently qualified clinicians, to senior colleagues and academics
We are delighted to share our work with colleagues from the UK and abroad, wishing to visit the Trust to enhance their professional development.
Visitors’ programmes are bespoke sets of activities tailor-made to complement your team or group’s areas of interest and level of experience. We welcome groups of students and professional groups wishing to reflect on their work and experience with the aim of furthering their professional development/team performance.
As a visitor you would not engage in any form of clinical activity but would participate in lectures, workshops and supervision of clinical work from different courses and from different parts of the Trust as appropriate. These programmes are therefore very different from joining an academic course as a student only; they offer an insight into the working life of the Tavistock and the NHS.
The cost of your visit will depend upon the number of activities in your programme and the duration of your visit.
Group visits
We welcome groups of visitors to the Tavistock, with programmes ranging from half-day workshops to week or two-week programmes.
Groups may consist of a team of professionals who work together and would like to reflect on their work and experience with the aim of furthering their professional development/team performance. We will put together a bespoke programme of lectures, seminars and workshops, where you will experience tailored teaching and supervision to suit your groups’ needs and interests.
Interpreting Services can be arranged for group visits.
