In this free online workshop, author Sabine Vermeire reflected on working with children, families and their networks in times of hardship. Through playful seriousness and serious playfulness, Sabine started to unravel the complexities of trauma and explored how to build networks of resilience.
During the evening, Sabine shared recordings of conversations and stories from her new book ‘Unravelling trauma and weaving resilience with systemic and narrative therapy”.

This event brought together clinicians, academics and students interested in the work of childhood trauma – including systemic therapists, trainee therapists, social workers, nurses and those working closely with children and adolescents.

About the author
Sabine Vermeire is a systemic and narrative psychotherapist, supervisor and trainer and author of ‘Unravelling trauma and weaving resilience with systemic and narrative therapy’. She works at Interactie-academie, Antwerp, Belgium with children, young people and families in multi-stress contexts and adverse life experiences. Collaboratively, she leaves the beaten tracks and opens creative ways when speaking becomes difficult.
