The Academic Hub
The Academic Hub can help with general queries you might have – or can direct you to the right place if you’re having trouble knowing where to go.
Your course administrator
Each course has a dedicated course administrator who is here to look after you while you are a student with us. You can book slots to see your Course Administrator through the Academic Hub.
Taking a break from your studies
From time to time, life events may get in the way of your studies and you need to take a step back to deal with these events. Please click on the link to find out more about taking a break from your studies.
Moodle
On Moodle, you will find your reading lists, course handbooks, be able to engage with your peers through discussion forums, watch recorded lectures and submit your assignments.

Shibboleth log-in for online library service and Moodle
In order to access the Library’s electronic resources, your reading list items and Moodle, you will need your Shibboleth log-in and this will be provided before you start your course.
Reset your Shibboleth password
Secure file storage of confidential study material
You will have access to a personal secure area as part of your Moodle profile called My Private Files where you can store coursework files and research data (MS Word, MS Excel, genograms, etc.) Please use this function to access your files from the Trust, work, home etc. It is important you use this method for storing your files and accessing them as it is the Trust’s agreed protocol for storing and handling data and adheres to stringent information governance and confidentiality policies.
Please note this is not suitable for large video files. Course-specific instructions and guidance will be given to you to manage and transport your video recordings.
