Mindfulness sessions
Facilitated by: Esther Usiskin-Cohen
The aim of these taster sessions is to begin to become more aware of how our mind works and to learn new ways of recognising and relating to our moods and emotions. We live our lives a lot of the time on automatic pilot, often not really aware of what we are doing. Mindfulness helps us to learn to work with our mind, to gain awareness of these patterns, and to respond to situations with choice rather than with automatic reactions. We will introduce you to some skills to help you handle thoughts and feelings differently.
