Gertie Doonan

Gertie Doonan is a child and adolescent psychotherapist with many years’ experience working in therapeutic services with Looked After and Adopted Children (LAAC) in the NHS in Northern Ireland. She also provides supervision to specialist infant mental health nurses in the Family Nurse Partnership Service and also the Signets Parent-Infant Relationship Team in Belfast HSC Trust.

She has been the local organising tutor for the M7N course since it was established in Belfast in 2009. She is a visiting lecturer for Trinity College Dublin and clinical supervisor on the Irish child psychotherapy clinical training and was honorary lecturer on the clinical psychology doctorate at Queens University Belfast.
