Course Tutor and Supervisor
Rebecca Nestor is a freelance coach, consultant and facilitator, primarily supporting those facing, or experiencing, the climate crisis. Rebecca spent much of her professional life working as a leadership developer and facilitator in universities, both as a member of staff and a consultant.
Studying on Consulting and leading in organisations: psychodynamic and systemic approaches (D10) , and Advanced practice and research: consultation and the organisation (D10D) , at The Tavistock and Portman led Rebecca to working in the environmental sector. Her doctoral thesis was about the systems-psychodynamics of leadership in organisations whose focus is climate change, and she continues to work on how the climate crisis influences organisational life. This interest informs her publications, consultancy and pro-bono work.
Rebecca is also a board member of the Climate Psychology Alliance, where she leads on climate cafés – spaces where people can share their responses to the climate crisis, and she is a visiting lecturer on Consulting and leading in organisations: psychodynamic and systemic approaches (D10) , Consulting and leading in organisations: psychodynamic and systemic approaches (ED10, online) and Advanced practice and research: consultation and the organisation (D10D) , and adjunct faculty at the Boston Graduate School of Psychoanalysis.
