Jackie Webb
Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers
After qualifying as a social worker in the early 1990’s, Jackie Webb became a probation officer in London and was introduced to Motivational Interviewing (MI) early in her career. She has used the approach with adult and young offenders, with people with substance use problems in a specialist team and as a manager in child protection social work. Currently, she works as an independent trainer and visiting lecturer in MI and is an active and committed member of MINT (Motivational Interviewing Network of Trainers). She is a committee member for MINT UK and Ireland and has been assessed as a ‘certified trainer’ in MI to support and train other MI trainers.
Jackie is passionate about helping people develop their MI skills through individual MI supervision and peer development groups. She uses a wide range of learning methods to bring the subject to life and ensure its relevance for each audience.
