Mental health in schools: leadership and wellbeing in secondary settings

Part of a series of free webinars on mental health leadership in educational settings

Available to watch on demand

This free webinar took place on Tuesday 25 April 2023 and explored the range of mental health and wellbeing challenges presented in secondary school settings and how students, and staff, can be supported with these.

Led by Heather Daulphin, an education consultant and deputy safeguarding lead, our speaker explored issues surrounding emotional mental health – including anxieties linked to the transition from primary to secondary settings, peer pressure, identity, climate change and handling high expectations from family members, and shared links to valuable resources for implementing a whole-school approach.
