Alumni event: management, leadership and consultancy
An opportunity for our graduates to reconnect and keep their learning alive
Delivered online via Zoom, this alumni event offers a learning and networking space for graduates of our postgraduate management, leadership and consultancy programmes.
Convened in partnership with our colleagues from Tavistock Consulting, the event will allow alumni to reconnect over their shared understanding of systems-psychodynamic approaches to work and organisational life – exploring their own and others’ work in relation to this applied field.
This online Alumni event will include a presentation from Irene O’Byrne-Maguire, an alumna of our Advanced Practice and Research: Consultation and the Organisation doctoral programme. She will be joined by her associates Kalina Stamenova PhD, and Bryan Maguire PhD to speak on Exploring the Unconscious in the Virtual World: Reflections for Organisational Consultants.
In this session, we will share emerging research into how unconscious dynamics manifest in virtual organisational spaces — including patterns of presence and absence, authority, boundary, and identity in online work. We’ll also reflect on the consultant’s role in containing and interpreting these dynamics.
