Alumni event: management, leadership and consultancy
An opportunity for our graduates to reconnect and keep their learning alive
Delivered in-person at the Tavistock Centre and online via Zoom, this hybrid alumni event offers a learning and networking space for graduates of our postgraduate management, leadership and consultancy programmes.
Convened in partnership with our colleagues from Tavistock Consulting, the event will allow alumni to reconnect over their shared understanding of systems-psychodynamic approaches to work and organisational life – exploring their own and others’ work in relation to this applied field.
This hybrid Alumni event on Thursday 13 November 2025 from 6 to 7.30pm will include a presentation from Dr Ajit Menon a graduate of our Advanced Practice and Research: Consultation and the Organisation (D10D) doctoral programme and lecturer on Consulting and Leading in Organisations: Psychodynamic and Systemic Approaches (D10/ED10) masters programme. Ajit will draw on his work as consultant and executive leader, to explore how to translate the depth of the Tavistock model into commercial, client-ready language, without losing its essence. He will use vignettes to illustrate how the model travels into both external consulting and senior internal leadership roles.
The event will include opportunity for graduates to share and explore how the insights might apply to their own sectoral and/or organisational contexts, with an emphasis on clarity, authority, and practical impact.
