Hear from a range of external speakers based in the UK and beyond in our external lectures on trauma.

Hosted by the Tavistock Trauma Service, this lecture series invites a range of speakers, with a variety of backgrounds and expertise, to bring their own understanding of trauma, and share new ideas, perspectives and research. Each lecture is delivered via Zoom, followed by a Q&A, where you’ll have the chance to raise your questions live.

Emphasising an adapted psychoanalytic approach with multi-modality and trauma-informed care, these lectures use neurobiological and attachment theory to understand the impact of trauma.

Who are these lectures for?

These lectures are for you if you’re a professional working within the mental health field who has an interest in trauma. You may be a psychologist, psychiatrist, social worker, mental health nurse, support worker, counsellor or therapist.
