2026 Offer Holder Events

Our invite-only events aimed to help successful applicants prepare for the next stages of their academic journey and connect with our community.

On Thursday 30 July and Saturday 1 August 2026, we welcomed future Tavistock Education and Training students to online and in-person offer holder events.

Open exclusively to applicants who have received offers of study, the events were designed to help attendees start preparing for postgraduate study with us.

Our online event included key information about enrolment, student life and academic support, as well as a “Question & Answer” session featuring four of our current postgraduate students, who shared their experiences and advice with attendees.

Our in-person event included a presentation on preparing for postgraduate study, a panel discussion with three senior academics, and a series of “drop-in” sessions, covering student support and reasonable adjustments, student fees and finance, enrolment and induction. Attendees were invited to get to know each other via refreshment breaks, self-guided walking tours of the neighbourhood, and an interactive art workshop themed around “New Beginnings”, led by Preet Cox, a Trainee Art Psychotherapist working in our Trust. The results of this engaging session will be displayed during Welcome Week in September.
