The Tavistock and Portman is an internationally renowned centre of excellence in clinical practice, education and training, and innovation for mental health and wellbeing.
For more than a century we have been leaders in providing services and education, as clinicians, teachers, and innovators. Foundational ideas such as infant observation and attachment theory trace their origins back to us, and we continue to foster a culture of innovation across our work today
We are already one of the biggest global providers of mental health education, particularly in psychotherapy. We are ambitious for the future, and mindful that we must constantly evolve to reflect the changing needs of the people we care for and teach, and the organisations and systems in which we work.

We are always looking for new global partnership opportunities. We strive to achieve the highest standards in education and training, supporting the professional development of students and mental health professionals the world over.
Wan Wu You Yi
Offering private counselling and psychotherapy in the Chinese market, Wan Wu You Yi rapidly expanded its post-pandemic offering, establishing ten new branches nationwide. We partnered with Wan Wu You Yi across their growth trajectory, supervising and advising as they successfully rolled out adolescent and family initiatives, launched digital academy short courses, and developed a one-year course on infant observation for a range of healthcare professionals in China.
Good Doctor International
Beijing-based Good Doctor International offers CPD programmes for doctors and nurses in China, focused on harnessing educational opportunities overseas.
These include short-term learning and clinical practice placements in hospitals outside China, such as at the Tavistock, or online programmes with content delivered by an international field of speakers. We’ve partnered with Good Doctor International since 2022, supporting with the development and provision of their training offer.
