The local area
The Tavistock Centre is just a few minutes walk from Belsize Village with its small selection of eateries, a deli, a chemist, greengrocers and more.
Cosmopolitan Finchley Road has a variety of shops and eateries including a Waitrose, Marks & Spencer, Boots, the O2 Shopping Centre and much more.
Arts and culture
Camden is well known for its art and cultural scene with several theatres and museums close by including the Freud Museum, Camden Arts Centre, Hampstead Theatre, the Roundhouse and Kenwood House.
There are also several cinemas nearby including an Odeon, Vue and an Everyman.
Green spaces and parks
A short stroll away is Primrose Hill which offers fantastic views of Central London and a lovely place to sit and relax.
The Regent’s Park is a 30-minute walk away offering excellent strolls, sports facilities, an open air theatre and London Zoo.
Markets
Every Wednesday, the London Farmers’ Market takes place between 10am and 3pm, a five-minute walk from the Tavistock Centre, next to the Hampstead Theatre. It’s a great place to buy lunch and try out some specialties.
Health and fitness
Swiss Cottage leisure centre is located a short walk from Finchley Road and Swiss Cottage Jubilee Line tube stations. The centre boasts a 200+ station state-of-the-art gym and over 100 weekly fitness classes.
There is a PureGym located within a five-minute walk to the Tavistock Centre, open 24/7 without needing a contract.
