Wendy Smith

Family and Systemic Psychotherapist

Wendy Smith is a UKCP Registered Family and Systemic Psychotherapist, qualifying at the Institute of Family Therapy, London. She completed her Systemic Supervision training at Surrey University. Her core professional training is in general and paediatric nursing. Wendy has worked in the Child and Adolescent Health Service (CAMHS) for many years, in both hospital and community settings in London and Surrey. Currently she is employed by Surrey and Borders Partnership NHS Trust as a senior family therapist in the South West Surrey Community team. Wendy has been a Clinical Supervisor for the MSc in Family Therapy, King’s College, London for several years and is an honorary lecturer at the Tavistock Centre, London, teaching on the application of systemic approaches within physical health care.
