Psychodynamic Psychotherapist

Sue Schraer is a British Psychoanalytic Council (BPC) registered psychodynamic psychotherapist, having completed her training at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Trust.

She is also a registrant of the UKCP and trained at the Anna Freud Centre in psychoanalytic parent-infant psychotherapy and has worked in both adult (NHS and private) as well as perinatal mental health settings.

Sue is a visiting lecturer at the Tavistock, teaching on the ‘Introduction to counselling and psychotherapy (D12)’ course. She has led seminars in infant observation at the Anna Freud Centre/UCL (Master’s in Psychoanalytic developmental psychology and CYP-IAPT), as well as for the Sino-British Project. She has guest-edited the UKCP journal, The Psychotherapist.
