Jean Knox

Psychiatrist and Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist

Jean Knox is a psychiatrist, and a psychoanalytic psychotherapist. She is Associate Professor at the University of Exeter and Academic Director for the doctoral training in psychoanalytic psychotherapy and is Chair of the Trustees of the British Psychotherapy Foundation. 

She is an honorary member of the International Attachment Network. She has been Editor-in -Chief of the Journal of Analytical Psychology.

She has written and taught extensively on the relevance of research in attachment theory and developmental neuroscience to psychotherapy theory and practice.
