Julia Scott is a Consultant Psychoanalytic Psychotherapist at Oxleas NHS Foundation Trust, lead of the Woman’s Service, an award winning specialist NHS psychotherapy service for survivors of non recent child sexual abuse and Trust Lead for Eating Disorders. She has been working in the field of Mental Health, in the NHS, private sector and charity organisations for over 15 years with significant experience in the field of eating disorders as well as complex trauma, previously senior psychotherapist and clinical lead in a community NHS Eating Disorder Service.

Visiting lecturer and registered clinical supervisor, Member of UKCP, Council for Psychoanalysis and Jungian Analysis (CPJA) and Neuropsychoanalysis (NPSA).

Julia has taught at The Tavistock Centre, Regent’s University, Kent and Medway NHS Trust, Salomons Institute Canterbury Christchurch University, University of Essex and Tunbridge Counselling Centre (TCC).
