Belinda Spalding-Jones, (together with Katherine Frost and Shayleen Peeke), is a senior psychologist who has worked across community organisations and in private practice for over twenty years. With a special interest in Parent-child relationships and Infant Observation, she is involved in the development, training and supervision of new psychologists entering the field of psychology. She sits on the training committee for Psychoanalytic Child psychotherapy and is a Fellow and teacher for the South African College of Psychoanalytic Psychotherapists.

Belinda entered the teaching realm more recently and is interested in South African history, culture and identity, its impact on clinical work and how observation can be used as a basis for working with families and communities with varying access to mental health resources.
