Child Pyschotherapist

I started my career in the NHS in the mid 1980’s as an Occupational Therapist working in adult mental health. When I moved into CAMHS services I began my training in Child Psychotherapy, initially in Birmingham (pre-clinical) and then later at the Tavistock Clinic. For many years I developed and led a Child Psychotherapy service in Leicester, Leicestershire and Rutland and during this time managed and supervised a wide variety of professionals including Child Psychotherapy trainees. After stepping down from the Lead post and semi-retiring I continued to offer consultation, reflective practice, work discussion and individual supervision to CAMHS workers. Currently I work clinically within a private practice clinic as well as continuing to offer individual and group supervisions.
