M4 open event for historically excluded and currently under-represented groups

Child, community and educational psychology (M4)

If you are interested in becoming an educational psychologist (EP) and come from a group which has historically been excluded and/or is currently under-represented in the profession, this open event is for you.

Join us online to explore our professional doctorate in Child, community and educational psychology (M4), with time and space to:

You’ll learn more about…

This session will be structured in two parts:

  • First, there will be an opportunity to meet with current M4 students and qualified EPs, who will discuss their own routes to training and their prior experiences before joining the course. They may share some of what it was, or is, like for them to train and/or practice as an EP. We will allocate you to a small group.
  • Second, there will be reflective space to share your own hopes, fears and aspirations about training or working as an EP, and hear from other prospective applicants. Some small groups will be facilitated by staff involved in student recruitment and selection, and others by staff who are not. By providing a group that does not include staff involved in shortlisting and interviewing, we hope that participants will feel free to bring their experiences and questions to this space.

Who is this event for?
