Tavistock Clinic Series

Published by Routledge, the Tavistock Clinic series showcases the most influential clinical, theoretical and research work developed at the Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust, now part of North London NHS Foundation Trust.

Numbering over 60 publications, the series sets out new approaches in the understanding and treatment of psychological disturbance in children, adolescents and adults.

Tavistock Lives Series

Published by Karnac, Tavistock Lives is a new book series encompassing memoir, biography and autobiography. Intertwining personal and professional perspectives, the series focuses on the lives of those who have trained or worked at the Tavistock and who have taken psychoanalytically informed approaches to their work in mental health in a range of settings.

The series will launch in October 2026 with the publication of Andrew Cooper’s posthumous memoir, Bluebird.
