About us

For over 100 years, The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust has been at the forefront of exploring mental health and wellbeing – from pioneering the development of new clinical interventions, to establishing a reputation as an international centre of excellence for education. Today, we treat hundreds of patients every year, and offer a wide range of training opportunities – each integrating a rich variety of theoretical perspectives, the latest clinical insights and research, and space for reflection and experiential learning.

Our courses

Whatever your area, and wherever you are in your career, we have a pathway of clinical and non-clinical courses that will get you to where you want to be. And with many of our pathways based on an escalator model – from introductory courses through to advanced clinical training – you can build a meaningful career in a wide range of sectors, including mental health, healthcare, education, social work, consultancy and criminal justice.
