About us
For over 100 years, The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust has been at the forefront of exploring mental health and wellbeing – from pioneering the development of new clinical interventions, to establishing a reputation as an international centre of excellence for education. Today, we treat hundreds of patients every year, and offer a wide range of training opportunities – each integrating a rich variety of theoretical perspectives, the latest clinical insights and research, and space for reflection and experiential learning.

And with many of our pathways based on an escalator model – from introductory courses through to advanced clinical training – you can build a meaningful career in a wide range of sectors, including mental health, healthcare, education, social work, consultancy and criminal justice.
