“Many years ago, I came to the Tavistock and Portman for a one-year, part time course for teachers, and it was a turning point in my life. Partly as a result of that course, I decided to change careers and work in mental health and now, thirty five years later, I have the opportunity to come back and I am thinking about the process of training as a psychotherapist. I appreciate the specialist character of the Tavistock and the clarity of the model taught here. I found the application process accessible, with an open day where I could meet and talk to the course lead. Although the Tavistock is very famous, I find it to be friendly and positive.”
