Estelle Struis

Developmental and Educational Psychologist

Estelle Struis, MSc, is a Developmental and Educational Psychologist who also trains participants in VIPP-SD. She is the VIPP-SD Director at VIPP-SD International, which is licenced to coordinate and accredit VIPP-SD trainers, supervisors, and intervenors around the world. In 2002, she delivered VIPP to families as part of one of the first research trials at Leiden University in The Netherlands. After the intervention was shown to be beneficial, she collaborated with Prof. Dr Femmie Juffer at the university to develop the VIPP-SD training, which is dedicated to bridging the gap between research and practice.

Since 2007, she has supervised and trained others. Currently, she works for a number of organisations as an independent VIPP-SD Trainer, including The Tavistock and Portman NHS Foundation Trust in London, UK. She trains a large number of new VIPP-SD supervisors and trainers and advocates for the implementation of the method within a variety of settings, groups and countries.
